A Camera in Every Pocket Question- How do you feel the popularity of cell phones embedded with high-quality cameras has changed the nature of photography? I feel that smartphones with high quality cameras have severely watered down the art of photography as people are now taking pictures with no thought behind them and no regards to composition or meaning. People take pictures of everything now, yes, so there is more photography taking place, however, it is not true photography anymore. It is pointless pictures taken solely for "it looked cool".
